Shift: 2-2-3 schedule - 9hrs of overtime every other week built into this schedule
Hours: 6:30pm to 6:45pm
Pay:
Up to $38 per hour, based on experience.
Job Overview:

As a Molding Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing injection molding tooling and equipment. You'll play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly in a clean room environment, working with molds, hot runners, and automated systems. If you love troubleshooting, working with your hands, and learning new skills, this is the perfect role for you—plus, there's potential for growth and further education support!
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machinery used in mold repair and construction.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on injection molds and accessories.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on tooling and production equipment.
- Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn or broken mold parts, including hot runners, seals, and gaskets.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate external machining when necessary.
- Support mold changeovers and assist with troubleshooting production issues.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of related work experience or an Associate Degree in Engineering/Science.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Experience working with injection molding equipment and tooling.
- Ability to read blueprints, use micrometers and calipers, and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with engineers and operators.
- Familiarity with maintenance systems like Maximo is a plus.
Physical & Work Environment:
- Work primarily in a clean room environment requiring PPE compliance.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as disassembling molds and handling tooling components.
- Comfortable working with automated equipment, electronics, and mechanical parts.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
