Senior Environmental Engineer (Sr. Environmental Professional) — Midstream / Natural Gas Infrastructure

Overview

Join a growing team supporting critical energy infrastructure projects by leading environmental permitting and regulatory compliance from early planning through construction and operations. In this role, you’ll serve as the technical lead for complex permitting efforts, coordinate closely with federal/state/local agencies, manage environmental consultants, and guide project teams through key environmental risk and schedule considerations—helping keep projects moving safely, compliantly, and efficiently.

Required Skills

• Proven experience leading environmental permitting for linear and/or energy infrastructure projects (midstream, transmission, compressor stations, storage, or similar)
• Strong working knowledge of key regulations and processes, including:
  • FERC permitting and related documentation/resource reporting
  • NEPA coordination and support for EA/EIS efforts
  • Clean Water Act (Sections 401, 402, 404) and related permitting
  • Rivers and Harbors Act (Section 10)
  • Endangered Species Act (ESA)
  • NHPA Section 106
  • Clean Air Act
  • USACE permitting and USFWS consultation processes
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary environmental studies (wetlands, water resources, cultural resources, threatened & endangered species, air/noise, socioeconomics, etc.)
• Strong project execution skills: planning, prioritization, schedule awareness, and stakeholder communication
• Ability to produce clear, defensible deliverables (permit applications, technical reports, agency correspondence, executive-ready updates)

Nice to Have Skills

• Working proficiency with AutoCAD and/or ESRI GIS tools
• Prior experience supporting route selection and constraints/risk screening for proposed alignments

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline
• 6+ years of related environmental/permitting experience (midstream or comparable infrastructure preferred)

Estimator – Industrial Steel (Production Planner & Estimator) — Pittsburgh, PA (On-Site)

Overview

Join our client, a well-established industrial manufacturer in the Pittsburgh area, and play a key role in turning complex fabrication and manufacturing work into accurate, competitive proposals. As the Production Planner & Estimator, you’ll partner closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to build cost breakdowns, secure supplier quotes, develop final proposals, and support production planning—from BOM creation and routing through coordination of inventory and shipments.

Required Skills

• Estimating / cost breakdown development for projects and component-level work
• Experience working with purchased components and supplier quote management
• Manufacturing knowledge (mill-type equipment practices and common commercial components)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Production planning fundamentals, including:
  • BOM creation/maintenance
  • Routing / router printing and ensuring parts are properly routed
  • Coordination with inventory/shipping to support job execution
• Strong math and analytical capability (computing, checking accuracy, interpreting numerical data)
• Clear communication skills and ability to document work (proposals, basic reports, routine forms)

Required Skills

• Strong foundation in electrical and instrumentation (I&E) design
• Experience supporting or implementing process control systems in industrial environments (plant and/or pipeline facilities)

  • P&IDs
