Key Responsibilities (What you’ll do)

• Receive, review, code, and enter vendor/carrier invoices accurately and on time
• Match invoices to purchase orders, transportation records, or settlement documentation
• Support daily check runs and payment processing (checks, ACH, other electronic payments)
• Monitor outstanding payables, track aging items, and help meet vendor payment terms
• Respond to vendor and carrier inquiries and resolve discrepancies and disputes
• Reconcile vendor statements and produce AP activity reporting as needed
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Customer Service to resolve payment-related issues
• Help identify process improvements and cross-train within the Accounting team

Must-Have Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Strong data entry, reconciliation, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Transportation, logistics, manufacturing, or freight invoice experience (e.g., BOL)
