Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) — 

 As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll turn complex data into clear insights that guide leadership decisions—supporting performance, profitability, and growth initiatives across the tristate area.

Overview

You’ll own core FP&A work including forecasting, long-range planning, modeling, and executive-ready reporting. This is a highly visible role with opportunities to present directly to senior leadership and private equity stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Own the monthly forecasting process (revenue, expenses, profitability, key drivers)
• Lead variance analysis (budget vs. actual; forecast vs. actual) and communicate actionable insights
• Build and maintain models for scenario planning, strategic initiatives, and investment decisions
• Analyze location-level performance (labor, costs, margins, membership performance, trends)
• Support pricing, promotions, and operational efficiency initiatives with financial insight
• Build models for new locations, acquisitions, and capital investments (ROI/payback/cash flow)
• Prepare dashboards, KPI reporting, and leadership presentations
• Provide occasional accounting support (month-end reporting, reconciliations, related analysis)

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• 5+ years in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or similar work
• Strong financial modeling experience (including scenario analysis)
• Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint skills
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, planning, and variance analysis
• Ability to present clear recommendations to senior leaders
• Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple systems

Nice-to-Have

• Power BI experience
• Experience with QuickBooks Online / ERP / planning systems / data visualization tools
• Background in multi-location businesses and/or private equity-backed environments
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar credentials

AccountStaff has partnered with a growing organization to hire an Entry Level Financial/Data Analyst. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team during a period of exciting relocation and expansion.

• Maintain and update vendor, customer, pricing, and item attributes to enable accurate commerce activities
• Process sourcing documents manually and systematically across all areas of master data
• Perform system audits to verify data accuracy and consistency against source documents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure current and precise information (e.g., item deactivation, attribute changes)
• Identify opportunities for streamlining master data processes and inputs
• Create and maintain policies, procedures, and SOPs for master data management
• Research and resolve vendor and customer invoice discrepancies
• Assist with projects and perform root cause analyses to develop corrective actions

Required skills include 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance. data, pricing, or related fields, strong communication abilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain and accounting concepts. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and possess problem-solving and research capabilities.

Preferred qualifications involve a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Logistics. Candidates must be self-motivated, results-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial.

This role offers a temporary-to-hire opportunity, with a competitive hourly rate of $24-25, emphasizing a hybrid work environment during the transition period and a move to our new Cranberry location at the end of the year.
