Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
  • Field investigation and project site assessment experience
  • Familiarity with civil/structural construction specifications
  • Ability to write comprehensive technical reports

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
  • 7+ years of relevant industrial engineering experience
  • Active PE license

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Job Details:
Direct Hire Role

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • This is a key functional role, responsible for 3D modeling and 2D CAD drafting support, and the modification of as built models/assemblies/drawings as directed
  • Works with New Product Development, Project Engineering, and Sustaining Engineering teams to complete CAD product design modeling and drawings per FS-Elliott’s policies and procedures
  • Assures project schedules and goals are achieved without sacrificing quality
  • Modifies and/or generates 3D Models and 2D drawings
  • Communicates and interfaces with various departments to ensure project requirements are met
  • Works directly with Project Engineering and Operations teams to insure prompt and effective problem solving
  • Assists with creating and maintaining Engineering Change Notice (ECN) documentation
  • Conducts checks of drawings and layouts prior to them being submitted for approval
  • Analyze and review Non Conformance Reports (NCR) to determine root cause and prepare corrective actions
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
