What You’ll Do:

• Lead all accounting operations, including month-end close, ensuring reliable and audit-ready financial statements.
• Maintain US GAAP compliance and technical accounting standards, overseeing revenue recognition, equity, and complex accounting issues.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting to leadership, board members, investors, and auditors.
• Design and sustain scalable internal controls, serve as key liaison during audits, and proactively manage financial risks.

• Partner cross-functionally with teams in FP&A, Legal, HR, Technology, and Operations to support strategic initiatives and operational growth.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA (active or inactive) strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, hands-on with month-end close and GAAP reporting.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, technical accounting, revenue recognition, and equity accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Proven ability to enhance processes, automation, and controls in dynamic environments.
• Strong communication skills capable of translating complex accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with emerging AI-enabled finance tools and workflows.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8+ years of pertinent accounting experience, including ownership of financial closes and reporting.

HR/Office Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support accounting and human resources functions within a growing organization. This role is responsible for accounts payable processing, HR administration, recruiting support, and related operational activities. Payroll experience is not required but will be beneficial for cross-training and future support needs.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Process invoices, expense reimbursements, and company credit card transactions
• Verify supporting documentation and approvals for payment processing
• Review and code invoices to appropriate accounts, departments, or projects
• Maintain accurate vendor records and required documentation
• Assist with tax filings and related compliance requirements
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues

Downtown Pittsburgh client is looking to add an Entry Level Accountant to their team.   Recent college graduate with an accounting or business degree would be ideal.  Position would be onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and properly authorized.
• Enter and maintain financial data within accounting systems and process various payment methods.
• Review, verify, and reconcile financial transactions and payment batches.
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain records related to payments and disbursements.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and analyses to support financial operations.
• Monitor outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Reconcile accounts payable and general ledger balances on a regular basis.
• Prepare and post journal entries and other accounting adjustments.
• Maintain accounting records, files, and supporting documentation.
