Accounts Payable

HR/Office Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support accounting and human resources functions within a growing organization. This role is responsible for accounts payable processing, HR administration, recruiting support, and related operational activities. Payroll experience is not required but will be beneficial for cross-training and future support needs.


Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Process invoices, expense reimbursements, and company credit card transactions
  • Verify supporting documentation and approvals for payment processing
  • Review and code invoices to appropriate accounts, departments, or projects
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and required documentation
  • Assist with tax filings and related compliance requirements
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
  • Support reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities

Human Resources

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee relations matters
  • Support compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Serve as a resource for employee HR-related inquiries
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Assist with process improvements and organizational growth initiatives

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

  • Support recruiting efforts for a variety of positions
  • Post and manage job openings across recruiting platforms
  • Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders
  • Prepare offer documentation and assist with pre-employment activities
  • Facilitate onboarding activities to ensure a positive new-hire experience

Payroll Support

  • Participate in payroll cross-training and related administrative tasks
  • Assist with payroll reporting and compliance activities
  • Support payroll-related research and system administration as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in accounts payable, human resources, or a related administrative role
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and business operations
  • Postsecondary education in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with accounting, HR, or ERP software is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements, where applicable
