Accounts Payable
HR/Office Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support accounting and human resources functions within a growing organization. This role is responsible for accounts payable processing, HR administration, recruiting support, and related operational activities. Payroll experience is not required but will be beneficial for cross-training and future support needs.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process invoices, expense reimbursements, and company credit card transactions
- Verify supporting documentation and approvals for payment processing
- Review and code invoices to appropriate accounts, departments, or projects
- Maintain accurate vendor records and required documentation
- Assist with tax filings and related compliance requirements
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
- Support reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
Human Resources
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Assist with benefits administration and employee relations matters
- Support compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations
- Serve as a resource for employee HR-related inquiries
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation
- Assist with process improvements and organizational growth initiatives
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
- Support recruiting efforts for a variety of positions
- Post and manage job openings across recruiting platforms
- Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders
- Prepare offer documentation and assist with pre-employment activities
- Facilitate onboarding activities to ensure a positive new-hire experience
Payroll Support
- Participate in payroll cross-training and related administrative tasks
- Assist with payroll reporting and compliance activities
- Support payroll-related research and system administration as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in accounts payable, human resources, or a related administrative role
- Familiarity with accounting principles and business operations
- Postsecondary education in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
- Experience with accounting, HR, or ERP software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements, where applicable
