  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Proven expertise in analyzing and resolving intricate engineering and technical challenges.
  • Strong skills in planning, estimating, scheduling, and project management.
  • Ability to create and interpret detailed substation civil-structural drawings in accordance with national codes and industry standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a knack for producing clear technical reports and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring junior engineers and collaborating effectively with internal teams and clients.

Preferred Skills and Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with project proposal development and cost estimating.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to substation design.
  • Ability to influence decision-making processes of moderate complexity with tact and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of structural steel, foundation design, bus, and cable arrangements within substations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical power industry, focusing on civil-structural aspects of substations.
  • Active PE license or the ability to obtain one promptly.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as needed to project sites and client locations.

Job Details:

Responsibilities

  • Generate, edit, and finalize monthly invoices in accordance with firm and client billing guidelines.

  • Prepare and distribute monthly prebills to attorneys, incorporating necessary edits and adjustments.

  • Assist with electronic billing (e-billing) submissions, resolve rejected invoices, and track approval statuses.

  • Record, review, and monitor attorney time entries and client-related expenses.

  • Maintain and update matter information, billing rates, and client-specific requirements within the billing system.

  • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and internal firm procedures.

  • Respond to attorney and staff inquiries regarding billing status, adjustments, and documentation.

This is a direct hire opportunity with a stable organization where you will play a key role in purchasing, inventory management, and material planning activities that support daily production operations.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports or employee management responsibilities. We are seeking a hands-on professional who can independently manage purchasing and inventory functions while working closely with production, suppliers, shipping, and receiving teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage purchasing activities for raw materials, production supplies, packaging materials, and operational needs
• Create, issue, and track purchase orders through the ERP system
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to support production schedules
• Maintain accurate inventory records through transactions, cycle counts, and audits
• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, deliveries, and material availability
• Track shortages, delayed shipments, and backorders while providing updates to operations teams
• Support warehouse organization, FIFO inventory practices, and material traceability requirements

Qualifications

Job Details:
Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay rate: Up to $20per hour BOE potentially higher for well qualified/ experienced candidates 
Progression: Accelerated progression plan, where raises are earned based on ability, quality of work and reliability.  Ability to earn several raises within your first 3 to 6 months with the company.   Potential to become a crew lead as company is adding new crews to their schedule as they hire more technicians. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install residential HVAC systems and components in new construction homes
  • Assist in the setup and assembly of ductwork, air handlers, and other system elements
  • Read and follow basic blueprints or layout drawings with guidance
  • Use hand and power tools including drills, saws, tin snips, and tape measures
  • Work safely on multi-story residential structures (must be comfortable with heights)
  • Follow job site protocols and work as part of a team to meet installation timelines
Requirements:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure and basic tools
  • Comfortable working outdoors and on job sites in various conditions
  • Reliable transportation to/from job sites – Ability to transport your tools and a step ladder (will fit in an average car, does not require a truck)
  • Must be physically able to lift, bend, climb, and carry as required by the job
  • Prior experience in construction, carpentry, electrical, or plumbing is a plus
  • HVAC or technical school education is preferred but not required
