What You’ll Do:
As an Analyst II, you will perform intermediate-level sample preparation and analysis using established methods such as USP, EPA, ASTM, and others. You’ll operate, calibrate, and maintain essential laboratory instruments—including LECO TGA, CVAA, and auto titrators—ensuring every test meets the highest standards. Your skills in data analysis and troubleshooting will support accurate reporting, while your collaborative spirit will help mentor junior staff. You’ll also be involved in internal audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to keep our lab at the forefront of inorganic chemistry testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Materials Science, or related field
  • 2–4 years of hands-on laboratory experience in an analytical setting
  • Proven experience operating laboratory instruments and interpreting data
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety practices, and regulatory methods (e.g., NIOSH, ASTM, EPA)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with LIMS is a plus

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in troubleshooting complex instrumentation issues
  • Familiarity with laboratory quality management systems and audits
  • Ability to assist in refining procedures for enhanced efficiency

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in inorganic chemistry or similar analytical environments

Position: MIG Welder l
Location: Ambridge, PA
Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour
Second-Shift Differential: Additional $4.00 per hour
Employment Type: Direct Hire: Full-time Employee on Day 1!
Available Shifts: 4-Day work week on all shifts!

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, (5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.)
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, (3:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m.)–(Additional $4.00 per hour Shift Differential)

What You’ll Do:
As a MIG Welder, you’ll be responsible for fitting, fabricating, joining, and repairing steel components used in large, industrial welded assemblies. Your expertise will ensure the production of structurally sound, high-quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You'll follow blueprints and welding specifications, prepare materials, set up equipment, and sometimes assist with robotic welders—ensuring safety and precision at every step.

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers)
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and welding symbols
  • Experience setting up and operating MIG welding equipment
  • Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes (certifications preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to pass and maintain MIG welding certification
  • Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Previous vocational training or apprenticeship experience in welding or fabrication
  • Experience working with robotic welding equipment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior MIG welding, fabrication, or related vocational training
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing environments

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift materials consistently throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift 25–50 pounds repeatedly and work in an industrial environment with varying temperatures and loud machinery
  • Bring your own weld hood and steel-toe boots for the weld test and interview process

Work Environment:
This position operates in an industrial metal-fabrication facility. Employees may be exposed to:

  • Changing indoor and outdoor temperatures.
  • Loud machinery, welding equipment, and vibration.
  • Moving mechanical equipment and electrical hazards.
  • High temperatures, sparks, and hot metal.
  • Welding fumes, odors, dust, mist, gases, and areas with limited ventilation.
  • Chemicals, oils, cutting fluids, and other substances that may contact the skin or become airborne.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in procurement or supply chain operations
