Laser Machine Operator

Experienced Manufacturing Machine Operators Wanted | $21-$23/hr + $1,500-$2,000 Monthly Production Bonus

TOPS Staffing is looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join a growing metal fabrication operation in the Petersburg, VA area.  This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position, will train on daylight for 2 weeks and move to your assigned off shift. 

This is an experienced operator position — not an entry-level opportunity. If you've operated CNC equipment, laser tables, press brakes, punch presses, plasma tables, saws, machining centers, or other industrial machinery, this could be a great opportunity to turn your experience into a long-term career with strong earning potential.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll operate CNC laser cutting equipment used to process heavy steel plate while making sure production stays safe, accurate, and efficient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating CNC laser cutting equipment
• Loading and unloading steel using overhead cranes and other material-handling equipment
• Monitoring machine operation and making basic adjustments through the HMI
• Reading blueprints and shop drawings
• Measuring parts and checking dimensions for accuracy
• Inspecting finished parts for quality
• Removing burrs and finishing parts with grinders and hand tools
• Maintaining a clean and safe production area
• Following production and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience operating machinery in a metal fabrication, machining, steel processing, or industrial manufacturing environment
• CNC or other computer-controlled machine experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic quality checks
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Overhead crane or forklift experience is a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

The Earning Potential

Starting pay is $21-$23/hour based on experience. + monthly bonus once hired on by client. 

After approximately 90 days, employees who transition to the client's payroll become eligible for a monthly production incentive that averages $1,500-$2,000 per month.

Entry-Level Repair Technician – Medical Devices
Clinton, PA | $18.75/hour starting pay | Full Training Provided

TOPS Staffing is hiring Entry-Level Repair Technicians in Clinton, PA for a growing medical device operation.

If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, and want to learn a technical skill, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door. No previous medical device repair experience is required. You'll receive training on the repair process and have the opportunity to develop your skills and advance into higher-level positions.

Schedule & Pay
Start Time: Between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM
Choose the schedule that works best for you:

• 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday

• Receive and inspect incoming medical devices
• Assist with cleaning and decontamination procedures
• Perform basic repair and assembly work with training and guidance
• Use hand tools and basic power tools for disassembly and reassembly
• Prepare completed equipment for packaging and shipment
• Follow established safety, quality, and work procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• High school diploma or GED
• Dependable and reliable work ethic

• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Comfortable using small hand tools and basic power tools
