About the Role
As the Office Administrator, you will help keep information and communication flowing between the local manufacturing facility and the company's headquarters.
You'll work closely with HR, accounting/payroll, warehouse, and material coordination teams to help ensure information, paperwork, and materials move smoothly between locations.

What You'll Do

Sheet Metal Fabricator

TOPS has partnered with a local HVAC Company to find several Sheet Metal Fabricators to add to their growing shop. 

We are willing to train candidates how to do sheet metal fabrication work but require you to be able to measure accurately down to 1/16th of an inch and be comfortable using hand and power tools. Any prior experience reading blueprints and doing metal working would be a huge plus. 


Job Details:
Contract to hire position
Position is Daylight shift.  Monday to Friday 
Hours: 6:30am to 3:30pm.
Starting Payrate:  $18-19 per hour, ability to offer a higher starting rate for directly related experience. 


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to measure accurately; read tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch, its a core function of the job that allows you to perform the rest of the job
  • Selects correct type of sheet metal. 
  • Use hand and power tools to do sheet metal fabrication work, making ducts for HVAC systems.
  • Cut sheet metal by hand or using power tools. 
  • Bends ducts to form shapes. 
  • Use scribes, dividers and squares to mark dimensions on materials. 
  • Utilize tape to seal joints on ductwork
  • Warehousing duties, some material handling parts picking, loading and unloading duties.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent or AS degree
  • 1 years of related work experience or AS degree in related field
  • Must be able to read a tape Measurer 

 

Physical Requirements:
