What You'll Do
As a Filling Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating production line equipment and ensuring finished products are properly packaged and meet company quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
  • Operate filling machines, bottle cappers/heat sealers, and bottle coding/ labeling equipment
  • Monitor production lines and maintain efficient operation
  • Maintain proper levels of raw materials and packaging supplies
  • Set up and verify date coding systems
  • Inspect packaging to ensure correct materials, quantities, and pallet patterns are being used
  • Perform quality and safety checks throughout production
  • Complete production documentation and reports/ paperwork
  • Assist other production line positions as needed
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Identify production issues and communicate problems to the Production Supervisor
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
  • Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures and customer specifications
  • Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer/data entry skills are helpful
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a production team
