Schedule & Pay

  • Monday – Thursday
  • 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4 x 10-hour schedule)
  • Overtime available on Fridays
  • Pay: $20.00 - $22.50/hour, based on experience

Bonus Opportunity: Once hired by the company, production employees are eligible for an annual performance bonus that has exceeded $6,000 per year.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble industrial ball valves and mechanical components
  • Read and follow blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions
  • Use hand and power tools including wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, and torque tools
  • Inspect parts during assembly to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals

What We're Looking For

  • Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

TOPS Staffing is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a growing manufacturer in the Ambridge, PA area. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you'll join the company's payroll on day one. We're looking for a well-rounded maintenance professional with both electrical and mechanical experience, with a strong emphasis on industrial electrical troubleshooting and 480V systems. Schedule & Pay:

  • 2nd Shift
  • Monday-Thursday
  • 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM

Training:

  • Paid training on daylight shift for approximately 30-90 days before moving to 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Maintain CNC machines, press brakes, robotic welding equipment, saws, and other production machinery
  • Diagnose and repair 480V electrical systems, motors, controls, and machine wiring
  • Troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and mechanical drive systems
  • Assist with PLC and VFD troubleshooting when required
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns while identifying root causes
  • Work closely with machine operators to identify potential equipment issues before failures occur
  • Receive work assignments electronically through a maintenance management system and document completed repairs using the same platform
  • Follow all safety procedures and company maintenance standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong experience troubleshooting 480V industrial electrical systems – Can train on the job but must have a minimum of 240v exposure
  • Mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience maintaining CNC equipment, fabrication equipment, or automated production machinery preferred
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and power transmission systems
  • PLC and VFD troubleshooting experience is a plus
  • Basic welding or fabrication experience is helpful but not required
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Commitment to safety and preventative maintenance
