TOPS has partnered with a well established client in the Cranberry, Pa area to find experienced Mechanical Repair Technician / Machinist to add to their growing service department.

In this position you will perform mechanical disassembly and assembly functions working in our service department in taking apart manufacturing equipment that is being serviced in house or at customer sites from time to time.  Ideal candidate will also have some working experience of CNC equipment, looking for somebody that can help load and unload machines, you do not have to be a machinist to be considered for this opportunity, will train  you how to put a new blank in the machine or unload a finished part after machining process.  
 
Job Details:
Contract to hire 
Daylight hours:  7am to 3:30pm but hours could vary if travel is required.

Starting pay rate based on experience:  $20 to $25per hour

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Strong Mechanical aptitude required for this position
  • Ability to read blueprints or schematics 
  • Ability to disassemble and assemble equipment with instruction
  • Use of drill press, drills, and hand tools and various other small power tools. 
  • Ability to load, operate and unload CNC machines  - Can train in needed.
  • Ability to read tape measure and measure dimensions 
  • Make hoses as needed, will provide training
  • Ability to communicate with coworkers
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of two (2) years Technical Degree or 1 year related experience in similar type industry, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Experience with reading blueprints 
  • Some electrical knowledge considered a plus but not required
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 45lbs
  •  climb ladders
  • stoop and bend frequently
  • Push and pull up to 75lbs

TOPS Staffing is recruiting for a Material Handler / Inventory Clerk to join a well-established manufacturing company. This is a direct hire opportunity from day one for someone who enjoys a hands-on role that combines warehouse, material handling, and inventory responsibilities.

You'll play an important role in keeping production moving by making sure materials are received, organized, tracked, and delivered to the right departments when they're needed.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
  • Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

  • Load and unload trucks and incoming materials
  • Move raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility
  • Stock and organize the inventory room
  • Pull materials for production orders and deliver them to the appropriate departments
  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantities
  • Update inventory information in the company's ERP/inventory system
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
  • Keep inventory accurate and organized
  • Work with production, shipping, and receiving to make sure materials are available when needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory, or manufacturing
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Overhead crane experience is a plus
  • Experience with an ERP or inventory management system is helpful
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and stay productive with limited supervision
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
