TOPS Staffing is hiring a PCB Electronics Technician for a growing electronics manufacturing company in the North Huntingdon area. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing experience who is looking to join a stable company with a consistent daylight schedule.
This role is primarily responsible for testing completed circuit boards using automated test equipment and performing occasional touch-up soldering when needed.
Component-level troubleshooting experience or abilities are not required for this role.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday – Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM (45-minute lunch)
- Pay: Up to $22.00/hour, based on experience
What You'll Do
- Load completed printed circuit boards (PCBs) into automated testing equipment
- Start the testing process and monitor equipment while test programs run
- Record and document test results generated by the testing equipment
- Identify boards that do not pass testing and route them according to established procedures
- Perform occasional touch-up soldering and minor rework when required
- Read and follow basic work instructions, assembly drawings, and production documentation
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safety focused
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) or electronic assemblies
- Ability to perform basic soldering or touch-up soldering
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions
- Comfortable working with small electronic components
- Basic computer skills for documenting test results
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
- IPC soldering certification is a plus, but not required
- Experience using automated PCB testing equipment is helpful but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand throughout the workday
- Good hand dexterity for handling small electronic components
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Good vision for detailed assembly and inspection work
