Company is willing to provide on the job training for this position and does offer advancement opportunities to move up within the organization as you gain experience and your skills and ability begin to increase.

Job Details:
90 day contract to hire opportunity

Daylight shift position 5am to 3:30pm; Offering a Monday to Thursday schedule 
Starting pay rate based on experience: $23 -$26hr 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Unboxing of incoming parts
  • Packing of finished products
  • General shop cleaning – sweeping, emptying trash cans, etc.
  • Operation of floor scrubbers
  • Assist with preventative maintenance of equipment – will provide training.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent or AS degree
  • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus but this is an entry level position willing to consider any and all types of work experience for this opportunity.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods standing we run a 10 hour shift schedule
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use profilometers or other surface measurement devices to ensure the finish meets specified standards.
  • Conduct hand lapping and polishing as needed to perfectionize component surfaces.
  • Assist with rework and quality improvement tasks to meet client specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S standards.
  • Set up, modify, and maintain tooling and supplies to ensure consistent quality.
  • Support general shop duties, including cleaning, tool inventory, and assisting team members.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with surface measurement tools such as profilometers is preferred.
  • Able to work from detailed instructions and adhere to quality standards.
