Manufacturing Manager – In Office Only
Are you a seasoned manufacturing leader passionate about operational excellence and team development? Our client, a prominent organization in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Manager to oversee all production activities, including CNC machining, welding, fabrication, and cleanroom manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, machinists, welders, and technicians.
- Manage manufacturing operations, budgets, and resource planning effectively.
- Drive production efficiency, on-time delivery, and quality assurance.
- Champion safety standards, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to achieve business goals.
- Ensure compliance across all manufacturing areas and resolve production issues using data-driven problem solving.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience (manager, plant manager, or similar).
- Strong background in Lean manufacturing, 6S, CAPA, and process improvements.
- Proven track record of enhancing productivity, quality, and cost control.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to develop talent and drive accountability within teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Extensive experience in CNC machining and/or welding/fabrication.
- Exposure to job shop or high-mix/low-volume manufacturing environments.
- Background in cleanroom manufacturing or precision components.
- Manufacturing finance or cost control expertise.
- Experience working in a global or multi-site setting.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience managing production in cleanroom or high-precision environments preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to work onsite in Pittsburgh, PA (In Office Only).
- No Visa Sponsorship available.
