This high-impact role offers the opportunity to lead payroll processes for over 1,800 employees, ensure rigorous compliance with employment laws, and support critical HR functions. As a key leader, you will oversee payroll operations, manage a dedicated team, and work closely with HR and finance to enhance system efficiencies and compliance standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to the seamless administration of payroll and HR compliance initiatives, making a meaningful difference in their workforce operations.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience, with multi-state payroll preferred
- Proficiency with Paycom and experience working on HR-related processes such as 401(k), Healthcare renewals, 1094/1095 forms, FMLA, and 5500 filings
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience managing payroll teams and systems
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior exposure to payroll audits and year-end reporting
- Familiarity with benefits administration and compliance regulations beyond payroll
