Key Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals and trusts, analyzing financial data, and working closely with financial advisors, and clients to gather essential documentation. You’ll be expected to stay current on tax laws, maintain meticulous records, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our tax team.

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least three years of experience in preparing complex tax returns—experience with high-net-worth clients is a significant plus. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes, proficiency in tax software like CCH Axcess, and excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. Certification such as CPA or EA is advantageous but not mandatory.

Accounts Payable Analyst

The AP Analyst supports accounts payable and expense management functions by processing invoices, managing vendor payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and reconciliations. This role also oversees expense systems administration, corporate card management, and employee expense reporting while ensuring compliance with company policies. Qualified candidates should have prior accounting or finance experience, strong analytical and organizational skills, proficiency with financial systems and Excel, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
• 2–5 years of AP or finance experience
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
• Experience with ERP systems 
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP

Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the organization’s financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency through hands-on involvement in core accounting functions. This role will lead essential close activities, perform detailed account analysis, support audit requirements, and help strengthen internal processes. Success in this position requires a highly analytical professional who can work independently, solve problems effectively, and manage responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Build a strong understanding of the company’s financial systems, reporting framework, and control procedures
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Investigate account discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions
• Conduct detailed financial statement analysis, including balance sheet and P&L account reviews, while communicating findings to leadership
• Oversee intercompany accounting activities to ensure proper recording and timely consolidation across entities
• Coordinate audit support by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses for internal controls, SOX, and external audit requests
• Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and regulatory standards
• Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness
• Provide support for financial projects, reporting requests, and cross-functional initiatives
• Consistently meet strict reporting deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail

Preferred Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Advanced accounting/finance credentials strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience combining public accounting and corporate accounting environments
• Demonstrated expertise in financial close, account reconciliations, internal controls, and SOX compliance
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting platforms
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, and financial data analysis
• Strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
