Production Machine Operators Needed -Afternoon & Night shift

TOPS Staffing is actively hiring multiple Machine Operators for a respected union manufacturing facility in the Saltsburg area. These are contract-to-hire positions with a short 60-day conversion window, making it a great opportunity for long-term career growth in a stable, well-established company.

In this role, you will operate a spot welding machine, applying tack welds to metal bands during the production process. No prior welding experience required — we will provide on the job training! What we do need is candidates with a good mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a hands-on industrial setting, and ok with performing repetitive machine operations tasks as our shop is a low mix high volume production facility. 

Job Details:
Union Shop – post-hire placement, shift, and job bidding determined by seniority
Hours: Must be open to working any shift but most likely will start on Afternoon 3pm to 11pm or Night shift 11pm to 7am
Starting Pay: $19.00 /  After one year raise to full operator rate of $25+ per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate spot welding equipment in a high-paced manufacturing environment
• Perform repetitive machine-based tasks while maintaining production quotas
• Monitor equipment and perform basic troubleshooting
• Handle materials, including transporting product totes to/from the machine
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and meet production goals

• Strong Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand/power tools.

• Assemble a variety of metal products accurately and efficiently
• Work from blueprints, drawings, and job orders
• Operate and understand the tools and equipment used in assembly
• Maintain productivity levels while adhering to quality standards

• Experience reading blueprints, performing mechanical assembly
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and using hand tools or equipment

Position: Powder Coat Painter

Pay: $19 - $21 per hour, based on experience

Quality Technician  – Medical Manufacturing

Location: Clinton, PA
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

TOPS Staffing is hiring a Quality Technician for a growing medical manufacturing company with a highly automated production facility. This role is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with paperwork and quality documentation in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The primary focus of this position is performing quality checks on products throughout the manufacturing process and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform spot checks and inspections on products during production
• Sort and identify defective or non-conforming products
• Complete quality paperwork and production documentation accurately
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
• Assist with rework or containment of suspect materials when needed
• Maintain organized records and reports related to inspections
• Work closely with production and quality teams to support daily operations

Qualifications
