2nd Shift, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Overview:

In this position, you’ll operate and support a range of machine shop equipment to produce components for manufactured products—using gauges and measurement tools to meet quality standards.

Schedule (40 hours/week):

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines, lathes, drill presses, and CNC milling machines to produce components
• Perform machine set-ups, tool changes, tool offsets, and minor maintenance as requested
• Gauge, measure, and deburr parts according to company standards
• Read and work from work orders, engineering drawings, and tooling/material specifications
• Pull needed kits, fixtures, tooling, gauges, and deburring tools for production
• Help maintain fixtures/tooling and report damaged items to the supervisor or team lead
• Support cellular machining concepts when needed and cross-train on other tasks
• Work overtime as required and complete other assigned duties

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 1+ year of related experience
• Ability to operate CNC and related machine shop equipment
• Ability to follow CNC setup instructions/programs where applicable
• Comfort using gauges and measurement equipment

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with additional shop equipment (e.g., CMM and tool pre-setter machines)

• $22.25hr-Starting 
• $23.30hr- 3 months 
• $24.35hr- 6 months
• $25.40hr- 9 months
• $26.50hr- 12 months

TOPS Staffing is hiring a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate for a well-established HVAC contractor in the Sewickley, PA area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day. You'll spend time making local deliveries to job sites while also assisting with warehouse operations, material handling, and order fulfillment. Every day begins and ends at the company's local facility—no overnight travel or long-haul routes.

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $18.00-$19.00/hour - starting wage  opportunity to progress to $25 in the first year or so. 

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• Typical start time around 7:00 AM
• Occasional weekend deliveries may be available but are uncommon

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a company-owned 16-foot box truck for local deliveries
• Deliver HVAC equipment and materials to residential and commercial job sites within approximately a 60-mile radius
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Pick and pull customer and technician orders from the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Organize inventory and assist with general warehouse operations
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and work area
• Support the team with additional warehouse and logistics duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Clean driving record with previous delivery driving experience
• Forklift or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds throughout the day
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• HVAC or construction material knowledge is helpful but not required

• Work safely on multi-story residential structures (must be comfortable with heights)
• Follow job site protocols and work as part of a team to meet installation timelines

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure and basic tools
• Comfortable working outdoors and on job sites in various conditions
• Reliable transportation to/from job sites – Ability to transport your tools and a step ladder (will fit in an average car, does not require a truck)
• Must be physically able to lift, bend, climb, and carry as required by the job
• Prior experience in construction, carpentry, electrical, or plumbing is a plus
• HVAC or technical school education is preferred but not required

• Read, interpret, and troubleshoot G-code to ensure flawless production

• Apply your proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to produce accurate parts
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify part quality and conformance

• Proficient in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and applying GD&T
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, bend, stoop, and twist comfortably
• High school diploma or GED

• Experience with 3+2 axis machining
• Proficiency with Mastercam CNC programming

• An associate’s degree or technical certification in a related field
