Pay: Up to $22/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview
This role focuses on bench-style electro-mechanical assembly. Technicians will build and assemble mechanical and electrical components used in control cabinets and related equipment. Candidates with mechanical assembly experience are encouraged to apply, and experience with point-to-point wiring or soldering is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform bench assembly of electro-mechanical components and subassemblies
• Build mechanical assemblies used in electrical control systems
• Perform point-to-point wiring based on diagrams and instructions
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
• Perform basic testing and inspection of assembled components

Qualifications
• Experience with mechanical or production assembly work
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Experience with point-to-point wiring is preferred
• Soldering experience is a plus
• Ability to read assembly drawings or wiring diagrams is helpful

Position: Woodworker / Carpenter (Steady Dayshift)
Pay: $21.00
Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:30pm)

TOPS Staffing is seeking a dependable and skilled Woodworker / Carpenter for a growing manufacturing company in the North Versailles area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is comfortable using woodworking and construction tools, and takes pride in building accurate, durable products.

The Woodworker / Carpenter will measure, cut, assemble, and finish custom wooden packaging designed to protect industrial equipment and other products during transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Build custom wooden shipping crates, boxes, skids, and pallets.
• Measure, mark, and cut lumber and sheet materials according to specifications.
• Assemble products using nails, screws, bolts, adhesives, and other fasteners.
• Use saws, drills, nail guns, sanders, and other woodworking or construction tools.
• Build custom supports, braces, cradles, hold-downs, and removable crate walls.
• Read tape measures, basic drawings, work orders, and customer specifications.
• Inspect completed products for proper dimensions, strength, and workmanship.
• Make adjustments or repairs when products do not meet specifications.
• Apply sealants, polyurethane, paint, or other finishes when required.
• Assist with wrapping, securing, and preparing completed products for shipment.
• Safely move lumber, materials, and completed products throughout the shop.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Perform other production and shop duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous woodworking, carpentry, construction, crate-building, pallet-building, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
• Ability to follow measurements, written instructions, and basic drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to learn company production and quality standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Job Title: Production Laborer
Pay Rate: $19.77 to $21.92 an hour (based on prior experience)
Shift: 1st & 2nd (rotating weekly) $1.00 shift differential when on 2nd shift
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Location: Saxonburg, PA

Shift Details:

• All candidates must be able to rotate between 1st and 2nd shifts. (Some higher paid positions rotate weekly; 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift)
• Must be able to work over-time as required.
• Mostly Monday-Friday with over-time on the weekends, when necessary.

Job Summary:.

• Works in various departments throughout the facility in a laborer role.
• Previous manufacturing and fork lift experience is a bonus, but not required.
• Will be using various basic tools and equipment. 
• These are not assembly line positions

Requirements: 

• Must be able to follow work instruction and to keep accurate records as required.
• Must have the ability to measure small parts for long periods of time, perform AQL, and records.
• Must be able to unload parts into containers, cartons, and weigh on scales.

Position: Industrial Custodian
Pay: $16.00
Shift: Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:30pm)
Location: Export, PA 

Join our team as an Industrial Custodian and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment for our staff and visitors. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for preserving the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, contributing directly to a healthy and welcoming workplace. Daily Tasks:

• Empty trash cans and recycling containers, replace liners, and transport contents to the dumpster
• Break down cardboard boxes and take them to recycle dumpsters multiple times per day
• Occasionally assist in the removal of ice and snow from pedestrian walkways seasonally, as required
• Maintaining the parking lot and keeping it free of foreign debris. (Removal of pine needles, weed whacking, leaf removal, less than 5 hours a week)
• Observe the appearance and condition of premises and janitorial equipment and report needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned when custodian is off.
• Service, clean and sanitize restrooms. Resupply restroom supplies daily.
• Service, clean and sanitize lunchrooms and break areas. Resupply utensils and condiment supplies.
• Clean, dust and polish furniture and fixtures in offices and production areas.

Requirements: 

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to use ladders and reach high surfaces safely
• Knowledge of cleaning products and methods
• Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform multiple cleaning tasks efficiently
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others and independently

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or building care
• Familiarity with recycling procedures and waste management

Other Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
• Ability to use step and extension ladders to reach, remove and replace light bulbs, dust walls and ceilings and wipe high surfaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors during inclement weather when necessary

• Valid driver’s license is not required but advantageous
