What You'll Do:

  • Develop detailed control panel designs using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical in compliance with UL508A standards.
  • Create accurate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings tailored to project specifications.
  • Generate and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all control panel components.
  • Interpret project requirements, electrical codes, and customer needs to craft optimal control solutions.
  • Perform engineering calculations for power requirements, voltage drops, and circuit sizing.
  • Select appropriate components for various circuits, including VFDs, PLCs, and industrial networks.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate control systems, including PLC logic and HMI programming.
  • Design panels for hazardous locations in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Review designs for compliance, accuracy, and ease of assembly, providing technical support during manufacturing.
  • Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed for project support, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

Required Skills:

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design, specifically with UL508A control panels.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical; familiarity with EPLAN or SolidWorks Electrical is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Experience within industries such as oil and gas, steel, or glass manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL508A standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with hazardous location panel design (Class I Div 1 & 2).
  • Skills in PLC programming and HMI integration.
  • Experience with heating, cooling, SCCR calculations, and component selection.
  • Familiarity with conduit sizing, wiring, and cable scheduling.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Over 5 years of relevant electrical design experience, especially in industrial automation.

In this position you will perform mechanical disassembly and assembly functions working in our service department in taking apart manufacturing equipment that is being serviced in house or at customer sites from time to time.  Ideal candidate will also have some working experience of CNC equipment, looking for somebody that can help load and unload machines, you do not have to be a machinist to be considered for this opportunity, will train  you how to put a new blank in the machine or unload a finished part after machining process.  
 
Job Details:
Contract to hire 
Daylight hours:  7am to 3:30pm but hours could vary if travel is required.

Starting pay rate based on experience:  $20 to $25per hour

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Strong Mechanical aptitude required for this position
  • Ability to read blueprints or schematics

Position Overview

This role provides mechanical maintenance and repair support for a large industrial terminal that unloads railcars and transfers material through extensive conveyor systems for vessel loading operations.

The Millwright / Industrial Mechanic will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain a variety of heavy industrial equipment while helping maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and rotating equipment
  • Replace bearings, shafts, couplings, chains, sprockets, and other mechanical components
  • Perform precision alignments of motors, drives, and rotating equipment

In this position you will be required to assist in various areas of our machine shop as need. Duties/Responsibilities

  • May be required to operate more than one saw at a time.  These are automated saws, so once you get one set up and running you would be required to start setting up a second saw and getting it going as well.
  • Blue print reading would be a plus but not required willing to teach on the job.

  • Inspect all stages of cutting designated per technical drawing specifications. 
  • Ensure accurate records are kept (time cards, time per operation, QA Inspection Reports)
  • Operate crane to position workload, Operate sandblaster to finish work piece to required acceptability

  • Operate forklift to move materials
  • Mark products and/or packaging according to customer specifications 
  • Record amount of parts produced during work shift, need to be able to count and accurately record production for the day.
  • Stocking of material into inventory work

  • May be required to polish some finished products, using a lathe or various other grinding wheels.
