Position Overview

As an Industrial Plumbing Technician, you'll install and assemble piping, valves, fittings, and related components onto custom-built industrial equipment. You'll work from blueprints and assembly drawings to ensure each system is built to customer specifications before final testing and shipment.

This is 100% shop work—no residential service calls or travel required.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install industrial piping systems on custom-built equipment
Thread, cut, bend, and fit black iron, stainless steel, copper, and other piping materials
Install valves, pumps, fittings, gauges, and related mechanical components
Read and interpret blueprints, piping layouts, and assembly drawings
Pressure test completed systems and inspect for leaks
Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threaders, and other plumbing equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures
Work closely with mechanical assembly and production teams to complete projects on schedule

Qualifications

Previous plumbing or industrial pipefitting experience required
Experience threading and installing various types of piping systems
Ability to read tape measures and basic mechanical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Comfortable using common plumbing and fabrication tools

Conduct first-article inspections and ongoing quality checks throughout production runs.
