Required Skills:
- Associate’s degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or related technical field; high school diploma with equivalent experience accepted
- 4+ years of experience in industrial and manufacturing projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks
- Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems at low and medium voltages
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and senior designers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to perform field/site visits and work within a team environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Bluebeam
- Prior involvement in designing conduit, cable trays, and grounding systems
- Ability to generate electrical hour estimates and develop material take-offs
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Technical associate degree in CAD or related discipline
- Over 4 years of relevant project experience, particularly in industrial and manufacturing settings
- At least 1 year of experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks
- Experience with project coordination and quality oversight in electrical design
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10%)
- Willingness to engage in site visits and client meetings
