Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Wastewater Project Manager to spearhead the design, planning, and execution of industrial water and wastewater treatment projects. In this role, you will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage key client relationships, and ensure the delivery of innovative, compliant, and efficient wastewater solutions. Your leadership will be vital in driving projects that support environmental integrity and industrial growth, making this a pivotal position for a seasoned engineer with a passion for water infrastructure.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in industrial water and wastewater project management or process engineering.
- Strong knowledge of treatment processes, facility design, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent project management skills including scope, schedule, budget, and quality control.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in technical report writing, presentation delivery, and interpreting regulatory documents.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with advanced treatment technologies such as membrane filtration, biological treatment, or chemical conditioning.
- Familiarity with environmental permitting processes and compliance regulations.
- Prior experience working with industrial clients in manufacturing, chemical plants, or similar sectors.
- Knowledge of software tools used for project management and process simulation (e.g., AutoCAD, HYSYS, or similar).
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant industry experience, with a proven track record of managing successful water/wastewater projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel as needed to project sites and client locations.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to traverse various job sites safely.
