Overview
As a Senior Piping Designer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining complex piping systems for industrial projects. Required Skills

• Minimum of 10+ years’ hands-on experience in piping design within industrial settings
• Proficiency in CAD-based software such as CADWorx, Plant 3D, or AutoPLANT
• Strong understanding of piping systems, supports, and fabrication standards
• Ability to develop equipment layouts, pipe routings, orthographic drawings, and isometrics
• Experience in creating and managing 3D piping models and bill of materials

• Organize, implement and maintain production processes
• Develop assembly instructions, workmanship standards and process documents, and ensure they are followed
• Continually improve existing operations, for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field with five years’ work experience, related technical associate degree with seven years of work experience, or high school diploma with a minimum of nine years of relevant work experience required
• Previous experience in an electronic and/or electromechanical manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in a ISO-9000, 13485 or AS-9000 environment

• Designs and analyzes electro-mechanical components and systems. Conducts studies and testing on new and modified designs. Develops design information for use in drawings and specifications.
• Provides engineering design, maintenance support and training for new product and equipment. Assesses new and existing equipment to optimize design efficiency, safety, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Designs and conducts experiments, collects data, and interprets results; conducts analysis and writes analysis and test reports. Capable of drawing conclusions and reconciling differences between predicted values and actual results.
• Plans, coordinates, and executes, with guidance, a variety of engineering activities including documentation, reporting, publishing, and making technical or other presentations.
• Designs new equipment and machinery. May assist in building, installing, debugging, and testing new equipment to ensure production capabilities.
• Determines maintenance schedules, procedures, and safety standards for current and new equipment to ensure equipment is operated, maintained, and serviced properly.
• Determines technical objectives and develops innovative, practical solutions to advance technical engineering problems. Provides technical support to failure investigations and bid responses.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; advance degree a plus.
• Minimum 2-10 years work experience dealing with manufacture and design of engineered products.
• Experience with rotating equipment and machine designs (motors, pumps, generators and propulsors).
• GD&T, CAD systems, CAE systems, FEA methods.
