What You'll Do:

• Design and develop electrical systems including grounding, heat trace, lighting, panel layouts, and single-line and three-line diagrams for low voltage applications.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, and industry standards while meeting customer specifications.
• Size cable trays and conduits, and provide commissioning and post-startup support to ensure optimal system performance.
• Support customer contracts, including 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenance efforts.
• Conduct research and testing to produce innovative design solutions and continuous improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers, demonstrating best practices and technical expertise.
• Travel to customer sites as needed, including overnight stays, and support on-call duties.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or similar.
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience designing electrical and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, NEC, and standards specific to oil, gas, and chemical industries.
• Proficiency in designing grounding, heat trace, lighting, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with sizing cable trays, conduits, and system commissioning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface effectively with customers.
• Ability to travel occasionally and support on-call responsibilities.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with process control fundamentals.
• Familiarity with research and testing methodologies for electrical system enhancements.
• Additional certifications related to electrical safety or industry standards.

Supplier Quality Engineer
