About the Role:
As an Industrial Millwright, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing machinery—both stationary and mobile—ensuring continuous, efficient production. You will work closely with the maintenance team to diagnose mechanical issues, rebuild components, and implement improvements that enhance equipment reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance on production machinery and mobile equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Install, modify, and move heavy machinery based on engineering plans, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Rebuild and align components such as gear drives, pumps, hydraulic valves, and motors.
- Diagnose infrequent or complex equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
- Perform equipment modifications and updates to improve reliability and performance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Fabricate metal parts for equipment repairs and prototypes.
- Rig heavy machinery and perform operational tests post-installation or repair.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and prepare technical reports on repairs and modifications.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and share technical assistance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or Associate of Science (AS) degree.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform prolonged standing and repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work on various shifts (day, afternoon, or overnight), with a steady schedule once hired.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Shift Options: Afternoon (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM), Night (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM), or Daylight (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). Shift assignment depends on qualifications and availability, with steady shifts provided upon hire.
- Competitive Pay: $27 to $31 per hour, based on experience, with additional shift premiums—15% for afternoon shift and 12% for night shift.
- Overtime: Regular opportunities for overtime, averaging 45-50 hours per week.
