- Maintains forecast templates, prepares forecast and analysis data and prepares annual plan.
- Coordinates the quarterly forecast process with Commercial Finance, Operations and Sales teams.
- Consolidates business unit forecasts.
- Gathers and presents weekly Outlook data.
- Prepares analytical review of consolidated forecasts against plan and strategic plans.
- Prepares monthly variance analysis to prior forecast and/or fiscal year plan.
- Coordinates and consolidates headcount information for the forecasts and plan.
- Prepares backlog profitability analysis as needed.
- Uploads forecasts and reconciles back to source documentation.
- Provides oral and written explanations of variances and trends.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance, an advanced degree is preferred.
- Requires seven years of experience in financial analysis and general accounting with emphasis in financial operations.
- Must be familiar with accounting principles as applied to profit and loss working capital cash impacts
- Demonstrated analytical skills that include proficiency advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, Microsoft Office, Hyperion, Oracle and Kronos.
