Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in power systems analysis, including distribution, transmission, and generation.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, or similar applications.
• Strong knowledge of electrical system protection, control, and arc flash analysis.
• Experience with short circuit calculations, load flow, harmonics, transient, and stability studies.
• Certification desired: EI or EIT, with a strong desire to pursue a PE license.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management and client engagement abilities.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with substation design and working knowledge of substation equipment.
• Familiarity with power system harmonics and transient analysis.

As a key member of the engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to lead and support a wide range of projects, from coal and aggregate process facilities to material handling systems.

Lead the Way in Structural Design

As a Civil/Structural Engineer with our client, you'll be responsible for leading the structural design and analysis of bulk material handling systems, including conveyors, transfer towers, foundations, support structures, and related infrastructure. You'll prepare detailed engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications, ensuring that designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and client requirements.

Collaborate and Communicate Effectively

You'll work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers and designers, to coordinate effectively and ensure the technical quality and accuracy of project deliverables. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will enable you to interface with internal and external stakeholders, define scope, present deliverables, and ensure design quality and completeness.

Requirements and Qualifications
