SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Proxy Legal Staffing & Search Group has partnered with a growing organization to identify an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support its commercial real estate operations in Pittsburgh.

This role will support attorneys and business stakeholders in managing real estate transactions from contract through closing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in handling commercial real estate documentation and due diligence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing transactions

  • Draft and review basic real estate documents, including leases, amendments, and closing documents

  • Order and review title commitments, surveys, and related due diligence materials

  • Prepare closing checklists and coordinate closings with attorneys, lenders, and title companies

  • Maintain transaction files and manage critical dates and deadlines

  • Communicate with brokers, tenants, municipalities, and outside counsel as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of real estate paralegal experience required

  • Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with title and survey review

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment

  • Paralegal certificate preferred but not required

Proxy Legal Staffing & Search Group has partnered with a growing firm to find a litigation paralegal!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all litigation support functions including electronic filing, docketing, case management, and deadline tracking.

  • Maintain organized case files and materials using litigation support platforms and relevant legal technologies.

  • Support e-Discovery workflows from collection to production, including document review management and data analytics.

  • Review case documents and transcripts to identify key facts, create issue outlines, and prepare for hearings or trial.

  • Draft and edit legal documents including subpoenas, correspondence, memoranda, and assist with motions, pleadings, and discovery.

  • Conduct advanced online research and apply investigative strategies to aid case development.

  • Assist with client and third-party communications as needed.

  • Provide logistical and substantive support during mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

  • Other tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in litigation support.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Experience with litigation support software.

  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state court rules and e-filing platforms (e.g., PACER, CM/ECF, state-level e-filing systems).

  • Familiarity with trial preparation and courtroom presentation tools is a plus.
