SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Sterling Office Professionals has partnered with a company to find an Assistant Buyer for a temporary onsite assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, enter, and maintain purchase orders for MRO goods and services

  • Verify pricing, quantities, and delivery dates for accuracy

  • Track open purchase orders and follow up with vendors on confirmations and delays

  • Maintain purchasing records, vendor files, and documentation

  • Assist with vendor communications and route inquiries as needed

  • Support inventory control activities, including data entry and cycle counts

  • Assist with receiving documentation and resolving invoice or delivery discrepancies

  • Generate basic purchasing and inventory reports

  • Provide general administrative support to purchasing and operations teams

Experience & Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Basic understanding of purchasing or supply chain concepts preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP experience a plus

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

Customer Service Representative

Sterling Office Professionals has teamed up with our client in the Butler, PA area in search of a Customer Service Representative to add to their expanding team.

Job Details:

  • Contract to Hire
  • Daylight
  • In-office M-F; 8:00 am -5:00 pm  
  • Pay 16-17$ an hour BOE.


Duties/Responsibilities:

• Resolve product and service problems, clarifying customer complaint, determine the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment following up to ensure resolution.
• Understand and be able to communicate UPG’s quality parameters on all products.
• Have full knowledge and understanding of all UPG products and services (i.e., glass types, manufacturing capabilities, patterns, etc.).
• Manage incoming calls while referring non-CSR calls to appropriate departments (i.e., Lami, Commercial, Heavy, etc.).
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
•  Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
• Meet personal/team targets (i.e., goals for personal development/answer calls by 3rd ring).
• Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits and follow-up to ensure resolution.
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
• Go the extra mile to engage customers.
• Answer questions on warranties.
• Have full understanding of RMA process.
•  Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and experience and communicate customer comments to appropriate people.


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience
  • Customer oriented
  • Fast paced
