Duties/Responsibilities:
- Designs and analyzes electro-mechanical components and systems. Conducts studies and testing on new and modified designs. Develops design information for use in drawings and specifications.
- Provides engineering design, maintenance support and training for new product and equipment. Assesses new and existing equipment to optimize design efficiency, safety, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Designs and conducts experiments, collects data, and interprets results; conducts analysis and writes analysis and test reports. Capable of drawing conclusions and reconciling differences between predicted values and actual results.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes, with guidance, a variety of engineering activities including documentation, reporting, publishing, and making technical or other presentations.
- Designs new equipment and machinery. May assist in building, installing, debugging, and testing new equipment to ensure production capabilities.
- Determines maintenance schedules, procedures, and safety standards for current and new equipment to ensure equipment is operated, maintained, and serviced properly.
- Determines technical objectives and develops innovative, practical solutions to advance technical engineering problems. Provides technical support to failure investigations and bid responses.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; advance degree a plus.
- Minimum 2-10 years work experience dealing with manufacture and design of engineered products.
- Experience with rotating equipment and machine designs (motors, pumps, generators and propulsors).
- GD&T, CAD systems, CAE systems, FEA methods.

- Provide specifications for electrical and construction projects.
- Coordinate design between disciplines
Education and Experience:
- Associates of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required.
- REVIT, Navisworks, and AutoCAD are the preferred software's.
- 5 + years’ of experience in industrial electrical design.
