Job Title: Estimating & Manufacturing Planning (EMP) Coordinator

Overview:

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and documentation standards
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM), ERP systems, and CAD tools
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to support structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5-Why)
• Analytical mindset for quote versus actual performance assessment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with estimating, new product introduction (NPI), and engineering documentation
• Familiarity with PPAP/FAI processes
• Knowledge of manufacturing routings and production workflows
• Past experience working in a cross-functional environment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment highly desirable
• Exposure to estimating, engineering documentation, or NPI processes

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work with cross-department teams, including Sales, Quality, and Operations
• Willingness to support pilot builds and production launches
